This Magic Monday, we invite you to join us as we remember America’s heroes.
As we’re nearing the end of May and rolling into June, thoughts of summer fill the air. Promises of long sunny days that stretch on into nights filled with campfires, marshmallows, fireworks, fireflies, and fun as the anticipation of “summer vacations” mount. As Memorial Day approaches it brings with it open pools and cookouts.
We consider Memorial Day as the kickoff to summer, a sentiment reflected in other news and media outlets.
But it would be remiss of us, to say the least, not to pause and reflect on what makes all of this possible: A reality hard won by the lives of many who courageously served and have since passed on in service to their country, that we may continue to cherish the rewards of that priceless freedom. The HuffPost wrote an article sharing further thoughts reflecting on the importance of Memorial Day and why we observe it. It’s worth the short read.
We remember the Fallen with honor. And with respect, humility, and gratefulness. We want to live fully for those who fully lived.
